...as French activists are in Paris?

Is there a Brexiteers' demo tomorrow including Tommy Robinson? I dare say the mainstream media will be out there looking for a Nazi salute.

Given the passions the May deal have provoked you might expect some hot-heads getting a bit naughty.

VE prediction: no cars will be torched in London and no policemen will be injured.

What are the relative merits of these two forms of protest?

Vive le difference or May be not Guv.
Why would it be tomorrow and not (say) last week? There's not been any new information which strikes me as riot-inducing.
//What are the relative merits of these two forms of protest? //

Which two? I'd like to think there's a happy medium between doing nothing and torching cars/injuring policemen.

The leap of imagination (to be honest only a tiny hop) required by my question was if this was Frexit and an equivalent to the May deal had been presented to the French parliament, then what might be the likely reaction by Frexiteers? Given they,re sipped of about fuel price rises.

The relative peace and stability of one of Europe's oldest democracies has rested, perhaps, on the assumption that change ( even contentious change) can be secured by ballot rather than bullet.

OK. That's not what I read in your question at all. I'll leave you to your hypotheticals as I can't really give an interesting response.
Well said Vestuste , my thoughts exactly.
It is not the far right in London later today, just ordinary people who voted leave expressing their disgust at the sellout by may to the EU.
We had the problems a few years ago, or have you forgotten.

Afterwards the police painstakingly trawled CCTV and brought many to justice.

Perhaps the hotheads here now realise they won't get away with it.

Hopkirk, did you understand the question?
I think we might see a bit of thuggery tomorrow (well today really) as the far right just don’t know how to behave in polite company.

The French would have a fit if they were treated the way the UK has been. But there again they might have a better negotiating team than we have had. Olly Robins did a carp job.
I can't see a riot happening.
Isn't everyone a bit peed off with the whole thing?
I worry about my Lithuanian daughter in law, and whether she'll be able to stay here.
we do our protesting where it will cause the maximum damage, but they are usually so called peaceful protests, like the ones recently. In fact its got so bad in London that its no wonder we have any tourists at all. Even Jim Davidson was caught up in the mess, its one of the reasons i don't go to the centre of town any more.
Just about protests every week, climate change, Brexit, ad nauseum
Question Author
Neither should you be worried about your Lithuanian daughter-in-law, CloverJo.

I and most Brexiteers didn't vote Out because we hated foreigners.
no we didn't.
It's a great pity all leave voters aren't as civilised as the AB cohort.
I've read reports of foreigners being physically assaulted. The attack might begin with words similiar to these: You're in England you foreign monkey, speak English.
I can only see an increase is such incidents as talk of Brexit betrayal becomes more common.
If you based this sites’ validity on peoples’ ability to understand anything (Hopkirk, did you understand the question?) it would certainly be a shorter read.
Perhaps I didn't understand the question because there were three questions in the rather worry question. Also it suggested that the French rioters are far right, and I'm not sure that many of them are.
wordy, not worry
