I read, somewhere, that Trump had initially offered Trey Gowdy the job but Trey turned the job down. I don't suppose Trump is used to folk saying No to him.

resignation letter here
( told to resign - I am not sure what the significance is)

honoured to serve him..... pursued a loranorder agenda
as 3T would say - - - righto!
Where did you hear that, Wolf? (I was hoping two years ago that Gowdy would be offered the job.)

two years is far too long a time for President in Crazytown to plan for
Tomorrow is more his style
V-E, try wiki but I read it elsewhere as well. He is pretty formidable when he gets going.
Who cares!
He then went on to ban a CNN reporter saying ‘he put his hands on a young female WH worker.

But was in fact because he doesn’t like the reporter asking him difficult questions.

The video shows the reporter didn’t act badly and other than blocking her arm with his so she couldn’t take the mic away was just normal.

Unless Trump is talking about another incident it is plain the WH is living.

Cassava you can see that from a slowed down camera at an angle but how did it look from The Donald view?

He cannot win, if the lady had been 'assaulted' and Trump said nothing can you imagine the 'twice meltdown' ?
Not sure how ito is burying bad news. Firstly all over press and secondly since when did Trump aboutburyinganything?
It doesn’t matter what it looked like to Trump. This allegation was made after the event where the woman could and should have said nothing happened. He and his advisors and the security services have access to all the filming footage. They know that this is a lie but are simply doing what they always do and make stuff up to deflect from the real reason they have banned the CNN reporter.
//he has just sacked Jeff Sessions//

"Sessions submitted his resignation to the president which he accepted. Trump said that Matthew G. Whitaker, the Chief of Staff for Sessions, would serve as Acting Attorney General in his place.
“A permanent replacement will be nominated at a later date,” he said."

Rosenstein is next...….and then get to the bottom of the Mueller accusations.
Cassa. Don't let your TDS cloud your judgement. Nobody should be 'touched' in work. Especially a woman by a man.
Accosther is a frightful boor who wants to be the news, not report it.
And maybe, just maybe, somebody else might like to ask a question once in a while.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders issued a statement after the spat.

“President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration. We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern. This conduct is absolutely unacceptable. It is also completely disrespectful to the reporter’s colleagues not to allow them an opportunity to ask a question. President Trump has given the press more access than any President in history. Contrary to CNN’s assertions, there is no greater demonstration of the President’s support for a free press than the event he held today. Only they would attack the President for not being supportive of a free press in the midst of him taking 68 questions from 35 different reporters over the course of an hour and a half – including several from the reporter in question. The fact that CNN is proud of the way their employee behaved is not only disgusting, it is an example of their outrageous disregard for everyone, including young women, who work in this Administration. As a result of today’s incident, the White House is suspending the hard pass of the reporter involved until further notice."
"o deflect from the real reason they have banned the CNN reporter"

Ah that'll be constant harassment, more than to any President ever, lies and a constant stream of hatred then.

Trump is no angel but the way the press have denigrated him constantly is abysmal. CNN are the worst culprits and need to learn some respect for the voted candidate rather than the constant lefty liberal whining they do. Maybe then they could take the moral high ground.
I am only going on what I saw in the clip. The reporter asked his question. Trump didn’t want to answer so the reporter carried on. (That’s what they do by the way, he would never survive Paxo would he??).

The woman tried to take the mic and he simply put his hand up to block her. He even made a comment (can’t remember what) but even that was a respectful one.

This is overblown by the WH to fit an agenda to get/keep CNN out. Whether restricting or removing access for other reasons is justified in this case it isn’t.

Didn't block the Secret Service man who took his pass, did he?
