I've been saying this since day one, yet every leaver has ignored it with the dismissal that "no one believed the buss anyway".

Yes, they should face an inquiry. The future of our country was based on a vote which was persuaded by lies.
that's a bit conceited of him to say that isn't it?

and, like a lot of proclaimers on the subject, whether left, right, remain or leave; it's just his opinion, he's cited no hard evidence or statistics to back it.
He makes an *** of himself again then. And thinks he'd look less of one if he proved that he couldn't read and understand English on national TV. The guy's beyond help, it seems.

what a big head he has, thank heavens he wasn't involved
My is everyone slating him? He's proving how politicians have double standards and he's right. He had to do a lot of legal work for brexit regarding his companies etc.. the politicians just lie and get away with it. If that was business they'd be in prison. Calling someone names and slating their character over their political opinion and the ability to call out double standards in my opinion is pathetic.
Abuse of trust and position IMO.

Both the leave and remain campaign leaders lied, not just the leave. Maybe they all should be held to account.
So he's miffed because he had work to do. Did he not realise doing business means work ? Probably not had to before, I guess. And whatever he's proving, it's about himself not politicians.
As cashier says both sides told lies. If the remainers think that we should have voted the other way then maybe more of them should have voted at the time and not moan about it now. Sugar says he had the chance to work with the remain camp and he turned it down. Yet another who is complaining but did nothing about it at the time. We voted to leave at the time and that vote said we wanted to leave so leave we should. That is how democracy works.
Latest from project fear. They don't seem to have much respect for the intelligence of their fellow Remainers.

Coo... not like the Remainers to miss a trick!
How arrogant. Politicians all lie And mislead. We know that, it's their job.
It doesn't seem to occur to him that the public may think that if the majority of politicians, major banks and millionaire business men want to remain... it is probably in most people's interests not to.
Lord Sugar, like most people with their heads screwed on, probably thought the general public couldn't possibly be so stupid and turned the offer down. Unfortunately, he was wrong.
He is also wrong in his assumption that he could have 'swung' the referendum. What an inflated ego he has.
//probably thought the general public couldn't possibly be so stupid and turned the offer down//

yeah yeah. and all those who voted leave are thick, stupid, retarded knuckle dragging racists, eh Zacs?
It's a total mystery to Zacs and his ilk why stupid, uninformed oiks don't agree with them.
It is, it is.
Think it was the remainers who were stupid by thinking they were going to win the vote without actually voting. Suppose they believed the then PM and his belief and arrogance that he couldn't possibly lose. Don't bother voting then don't bother complaining when you lose.
