A report on last night’s ITN News interviewed 2 Jihadi Brides who want to return to the UK, but the UK will not repatriate detainees.

Should these young women be allowed back, or left to rot?

They were old enough to know what they were getting into before they left the UK to support a hideous murderous regime. It was in the media enough about atrocities committed by ISIS. I find her remark about wishing to return to the UK for her children's education risible and pathetic. What sort of education did she think her children would receive under ISIS...

Everyone is allowed a second chance. They are British and IMO should be allowed back into the country.
Left to be shot. Kurds captured them. Let them deal with them how they feel fit.
Allowed to return for the sake of the children.
Absolutely not. Did Ken Bigley or any of the others get a second chance. Leave them where they are , whether or not they rot is not my concern.
Oh SparklyKid - lovely to see your humanity shining brightly once again.
Leave them where they are. They knew what they were doing.
Sparklykid, if it is not your concern why are you posting?
Aye, maggie. Let the Yorkshire Ripper out for another chance.

A second chance, maggiebee?
Even those who chose to join a murderous sect?

The only sorrow I could detect from them was the self-pitying kind, and the situation they now find themselves in.
SparklyKid so far as I know these women and children have not murdered anyone. Maybe misguided in their actions, but no comparison with the Yorkshire Ripper.
They totally supported the ideology. I cannot for the life of me understand why some are in support of them.
Sparklykid, I can't understand that either. They'd have happily seen every one of us dead.

I find her remark about wishing to return to the UK for her children's education risible and pathetic. What sort of education did she think her children would receive under ISIS manipulation. Full of self pity because she joined the losing regime and was captured.

Not so much in support of them, but felling sorry for the innocent children.

I know we are only 13 replies in, but retrocop’s answer summed it up beautifully.

I should say that I am surprised by the lack of compassion shown by some posters here, but , sadly I am not.
I do wonder how old they were when they went out there. I am a believer in second chances. I am sure all of us can look back and thank whatever we believe in for a second chance we had. However I am not an advocate of 3rd, 4th or more chances. I think they should be allowed back but generally monitored carefully. After all, whilst they went to show support there is nothing suggesting they actually hurt anyone.
You're a veritable saint danny. You feel sorry for the children? Do you know how old those children are and what sort of education they've been exposed to? And do you know what exactly you would be bringing back into this country?
They're women....brides.....in love .....stars in their eyes ...oestrogens flowing and they make a decision that may or may not shape their lives.
They back the wrong horse ( we have all done it) and now they want to return with the kids.

I can see no harm, although i do understand the opinions of the "keep them out " brigade."
