Spath, from your Guardian link, Kate's friend saw the man with the moustache or someone who look like him. Don't you think she'd recognise her own friend, even if she had a fake moustache on? Did Kate put on a wig, too?
This getting ludicrous now.
I think the friend would be good at assisting tbe parents lie, personally

AL/Spath, This from 2017. //Recently retired Scotland Yard detective chief inspector Mick Neville travelled to the small Algarve town of Praia da Luz with The Sun to examine the scene. He said: “The first thing that strikes me is that here at the complex and throughout the rest of Praia da Luz, there is an absence of cameras.
“I cannot see any visible CCTV cameras at the Garden Club and there are only a couple in the town that I have noticed.//

I don’t know why anyone thinks rural Europe is awash with CCTV. It isn’t - anywhere.
BB is here in the UK, so authorities think this the norm everywhere.
OG, indeed.
I'm truly staggered there's people on this thread that think the McCann's killed their child.

Spath I can kind of get because he's not very bright, but for anybody else it just beggars belief that such stupid thoughts are held.

Deskdiary, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. What I've read on this thread are personal insults hurled about only by those who do not believe the McGs were involved. Those on here that think they were involved have just stood by their opinions without the need to accuse those who have different views as 'stupid'. Speaks volumes to me.
AL, I don't know if you haven't read my question or whether you're ignoring it. I'll ask a third time. How do you think the deed was accomplished?

It beggars belief that two sensible Doctors would leave 3 children alone in an apartment whilst they went out on the p*** in a foreign country
Of course everybody is entitled to their own opinion, even when the opinion flies in the face of common sense, it's still an opinion you're entitled to hold.

My opinion is that your opinion is bananas.
Deskdiary, just has Spath and AL don't know if the Mcann's were involved... you don't know if the Mcann's were or were not involved.
"It beggars belief that two sensible Doctors would leave 3 children alone in an apartment whilst they went out on the p*** in a foreign country."

The rights and wrongs of the above have been argued ad nauseam so it doesn't add anything to this thread.
It is completely impossible to have any sort of rational, reasonable discussion about the McCanns without the most bonkers conspiracy theories raising their ugly heads........again.

Have a look at AOG's question and try to answer that.

On balance, I think the public fund ought to be used to pay their costs should they lose their case against the odious Amaral.
Talbot - my belief that they didn't kill their child is just so much more believable than the idea that they did. I find the obvious answer is generally the correct answer, whereas answers that are so far removed from being obvious tend to be spouted by the conspiracy theorists of the world.
Naomi of course I am not ignoring you. I presumed the question was hypothetical, considering I was not there. Any scenario would be pure conjecture, but at the same time, as credible as any scenario proposed by someone who believes Madeline was kidnapped, as there is no evidence to suggest she was either.

However, there is evidence to suggest a cadaver was present in the holiday apartment, and pathological evidence of blood in the rear of the McG's hire car. Many people argue over the validity of this evidence, and even if this evidence actually existed, but there is not one shred of evidence to suggest the child was kidnapped. No evidence of foriegn ( as in not part of the family) DNA at the scene, no evidence of forced entry or exit. I subscribe to the theory it was an accident, a cover up, and the poor child was already dead when the Police were called. I hope I'm wrong and Madelaine is found somewhere living a life as a gypsy or whatever but I doubt that.

If they are stupid enough to do that then who knows what they might do.

Why are you convinced they didn’t do it.?
But jack surely the fund was meant to be used to find out what happened to the wee soul.
You can believe anything you want but you can not say it is the truth.

Only a few people know the truth, the rest of us will probably never know.
It was, I agree.

But the lies, accusations and smears trotted out by Amaral couldn't have been left unaddressed, if the McCanns hadn't called him out on them *that* would have convinced 'some' people of their complicity.

They shouldn't find themselves in penury because of this case.
Webbo, it wasn't just two doctors who left their children alone it was some of their friends as well but of course they don't get the approbation because it wasn't their child who was taken. The McCanns and friends went for their evening meal, not a *** up as you put it, but no doubt had a couple of glasses of wine during that time. Also during that time, they took it in turn to check on the children every half an hour.

Do you know the answer?

Should The Mccann's Public Fund Be Used To Pay The Costs, If They Happen To Lose Their Court Case?
