Can't supply a link but Jacob R-M is smashing it on Jeremy Vile at the moment ( TV channel 5). He's a prime example of how pure genius and intelligence can make any journalist look like a fool. He is wiping the floor with the whole panel who keep changing the subject of debate to try and trap him.

Interesting that he states it’s not up to him to judge but that what he does to every woman that’s ever had an abortion due to his views and if he had his way he would deny all women that right! The man is a dinosaur!

Bit late to the party Rock Rose. Everyone's points of view are welcome. I think killing a baby is wrong, even if its not wanted it's not the baby's fault. This does not automatically mean I judge those who have chosen to have one, just in my moral code its wrong and I would never do it.

I think anyone who has had a late miscarriage would find it hard to stomach the fact babies can be killed up to 24 weeks. As far as I know Rees-Mogg is not against abortion for medical reasons. As far as I know he has not directly made negative comments about women who choose to kill their babies.

By using the words kill and baby it’s shown that you are too emotionally involved to be able to debate this. I have had several miscarriages which have left me unable to conceive but I would never deny a woman an abortion. Also I didn’t realise there was a time limit on questions these days!

I would not deny a woman an abortion either. I'm all for choice, it's just a choice I would not make. For the record I have never had a miscarriage or an abortion so where you get the 'too emotionally involved to debate this' rubbish is I don't know.
Abortion is killing a baby -well debatable I'll give you that, could be embryo or fetus but its still alive, it's not a cyst or growth that needs removing WE are not debating abortion, though if you want to start a thread that's fine by me.

The thing is though Aunt Lydia, that his views on abortion are fundamental to why people fear and loathe him so much. I too would never have an abortion but like RR and yourself would uphold any other woman's right to do so. He does not feel that way, thus he is a threat to every woman he has any sort of jurisdiction over, so entirely to be feared being PM.

I understand what you are saying kval and on the top of that am going to do some research on his views. I think you can sleep easy ( in your draughty orangerie lol!) as he has said he has no ambitions to be PM. Maybe this is smoke and mirrors. He would make a better PM than T.May but I still wouldn't vote Tory even for him.

Jacob Rees Mogg is not that clever actually and he's two faced. His company was behind an abortion pill while he was banging on deciding what goes on in a female body without knowing anything about their circumstances. He's an upper class hypocrite and I'd rather see anyone as pm but him, except maybe an irrational Muslim with centuries old views! I can't for the life of me understand how anyone can support people who say there is a God with no proof whatever. Ian Hislop has pointed out many anomalies in JRMs Brexit rants too but its too tedious to go over it here.

A raped or incest baby resides in the womb briefly in comparison to its natural longevity if birthed. If an unwanted baby is adopted it would give fulfillment to barren parents & who knows the realms the child could achieve.

I do agree with abortion on foetus medical grounds.

Tambourine a woman has to carry that baby for 9 months of her life. To expect her to do it so that some childless couple can be parents is like trafficking. Besides who says someone will appreciate it? Many adopted kids have miserable lives with people who don't understand them. Besides who wants to be the child of a rapist? My own father was bad enough as it is.

I have 2 adopted cousins who are presently mourning the loss of their father. As theyre in their 60s we dont know why they adopted. Theyre both hi-flyers with gkids.

Jacob Rees Mogg ,is the highest earning politicion in the country he is a partner/ owner of the Company he helped set up "Somerset Capital Management"
on his last pay day he Raked in a cool £4 million ,and the Company has relocated to Dublin. ???? .

moggies part time job at his own company also pays him £20.255 per month for the 30 hours a month he puts in apart from the £4 mill. so he would have no problem fitting the PMs job in. plus expenses of course.
