I think Rees-Mogg could make a good job of it.
//Bo Jo Goes ! Shock//

I'm not shocked.
Was Cromwell addressing the Rump Parliament or the Addled Parliament?

Wasn't the Long Parliament, was it?
Hardly a surprise. The surprise was he lasted so long

// You have sat too long for any good you have been doing lately... Depart, I say; and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go!

Long chunter from Corbyn
May - I dont think that was a question, but anyway ....
in the face of her incredible melting cabinet, the PM cannot deliver Brexit. but if this affair precipitates a general election, would Mr Corbyn be able to deliver it?
Question Author
no Mr Corbyn ( or agent novichok or whatever 3T calls him) is against Brexit
and I imagine that May has been threatening that big time to her so called followers....
( or MAY have been .... pun intended)
The Labour Party is divided over Brexit but not in the same almost existential way the Tories are. Most Labour voters, despite what many believe, do our support Brexit and certainly few of Corbyn’s most ardent fans do.
A sensible opposition would be offering the electorate a way out of this mess. It’s looking like the Tories age incapable of delivering.
On the other hand it is actually very good need that Davis and Johnson are out of there. Question is can the prime minister survive the threats now coming from certain quarters. If not the government will collapse and there’ll be an election and it’s a safe bet if that happened there’d be fewer Tory mps than before. The 2017 result would look like the stuff of dreams :-)
Well personally I think he was the best for min we’ve had,he broke down walls, forged new international friendships and was extremely approachable.

He was 1000% better than the bliar ministry
PP
// Corbyn is against Brexit //

Corbyn is pro Brexit. He voted for triggering Article 50.
Mrs May's leadership can't last much longer now. Bojo will now have a free hand to put in his own leadership bid, which has always been his ambition.
Never was there a truer saying than 'Keep your friends close, but your enemies even closer'
I can hear the knives being sharpened even as I type.
There’s more chance of me being leader of the Tories than Johnson. He’s a busted flush
quite funny , some of you suffering from the Dunning–Kruger effect are happy hes gone but because of who he is rather than what he has done....

so please enlighten me of any major diplomatic scandals hes caused since he became F.O., wise me up on how badly he has done his job, or any derelections of duty ?

I'm surprised its taking so long for the the village idiot to wake up...
We are now in meltdown concerning Brexit. We should now have a second referendum.
Mr Corbyn is against Brexit

as is May. However, she's trying to deliver it. I wonder if Corbyn would try?
Can you imaging Diane Abbot trying to work out where the £350m would go......or even how much it actually is!

Dunning Kruger to remind readers - is that stupid people dont know how stupid they are, but the wise do ....

hey dig that self-referential idea !

// I'm surprised its taking so long for the the village idiot to wake up...// er I dont think the poster is referring to Bo Jo - but by golly if the cap fits ....
Johnson was fun when he was slagging off the Kremlin.. Unfortunately it was a very bad time for his "unique brand of humour" to be tried on our European partners and allies
This is not the end of this Tory Government, This is not the end of Brexit.
But it is the beginning of the end of this Tory Government, and the beginning of the end of Brexit.
