'The true and malevolent purpose of Hamas's plan is to incite violence in such a way that the IDF has no choice but to respond with lethal force, killing Gaza civilians.
If that happens, the UN and EU, human rights groups and many Western media organisations will have helped bring it about.
The UN, EU and a range of human rights groups and media organisations have devoted their efforts to unjustly condemning Israel's actions. If there was genuine concern for human life and human rights among these people, rather than a fixation on unfairly vilifying Israel, they would harshly condemn Hamas. The Palestinian terrorist group Hamas is orchestrating a 'demonstration' at the beginning of this week of up to 200,000 people on the Gaza border with Israel, and is intent on turning it into an orgy of death and bloodshed. If that happens, the UN and EU, human rights groups and many Western media organisations will have helped bring it about.'

We have to watch and wait, but is this a fair prediction and assessment of the situation?

Hamas is a cowardly murdering terrorist organisation with a stated purpose of killing all jewish people, and just to add to this delight, homophobia and misogyny are also close to their hearts, and the like to goad thr IDF into using civilians as a screen. >>> is this a fair prediction and assessment of the situation?

Given that it comes from Richard Kemp, who's as about as biased as it's possible to be, probably not!
Last month Israeli snipers murdered 16 unarmed protestors in Gaza.

The UN and EU rightly condemn the Isealis for their oppression in Gaza. It is people like Richard Kemp and other apologists who encourage such atrocities.

A Gatestone Institute post. Bonkers as usual.

Still, doesn't matter, it will always be Irael's fault.....
Should have read...

"...and they like to goad the IDF into action on 'civilians' which Hamas are using as a screen"
In relation to Gaza there is blame on both sides.Hamas for their inciting the Jews to action and the Jews for occupying Gaza in the first place.

Al Qaeda is not a religion.
Do you mind if I post this alternative report Khandro? The Telegraph website has a paywall.

Gromit; //Last month Israeli snipers murdered 16 unarmed protestors in Gaza//

They were not 'snipers' and it wasn't 'murder', they were armed soldiers protecting their country's borders from youths who were egged on to severe violence by cynical Hamas agitators, none of whom were amongst them. There will unfortunately be more of this, this week.
It may well be worth pointing out to Gromit once again, that the report was not written by (Bonkers?)Gatestone………...merely re-published to reach a wider "audience". It was produced by HLMG but will not be available in the Guardian, Independent, Telegraph, or in the Beep Beep See tidal wave of chosen "information".
HLMG Is an arm of the Friends of Israel Initiative, and is hardly impartial. Its reports are commissioned indirectly by Israel and financed by them.
Kemp was assured his place in the group due to his previous work in attacking the Goldstone Report which criticised Israel and Hamas in the 2008 conflict.
A link would be good.
Hamas are certainly malevolent tho.
It’s often forgotten that Gaza is blockaded by Egypt as well as Israel
Question Author
Grommit, Since when has being "impartial" been a virtue?
It’s very important in news

It's not NEWS! its about life and facts.
Saudi Arabia is not to enamoured with the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades either.

//Both Saudi Arabia and Egypt have called on militant organization Hamas to end the annual weekly protests it is holding for the "Great March of Return," according to an Egyptian source.
An Egyptian Foreign Ministry official was anonymously quoted as saying that, in exchange for halting the protests, Egypt would ensure that the Rafah border crossing, which Egypt controls, would be regularly opened. The source said that the agreement had come under the direction of the Saudis. //
