I remember taking my two small Grand Children to our local police service open day and all the kids were queueing up to have their finger prints taken and walking away quite happy with their prints on a Police crested book mark.
Asylum seekers have to provide:
passports and travel documents
police registration certificates
identification documents, for example identity cards, birth and marriage certificates or school records
All fingerprints of all immigrants should be provided.
When I was in the US they took mine and did FBI checks.
Not only would it register and make them legal meaning it would be easier to identify the illegals but it would also help prevent another "Windrush" type issue.
Fingerprints and DNA should be required from all "asylum seekers". They are seeking assistance from us and they have no reason to object if they are truly escaping persecution. They should be grateful that they are in a position where a host country is willing to accommodate them in return for the means to identify them properly.
