//Two Britons accused of being Islamic State members have complained they will not get a fair trial because the UK government has stripped them of their citizenship.
In an interview with Associated Press from northern Syria, Elsheikh said the "illegal" withdrawal of their UK citizenship put them at risk of "rendition and torture".
US officials believe 'the Beatles' IS cell beheaded more than 27 Western hostages and tortured many more.//

And one of them is worried about his mum too. Ahhhh. Heartbreaking! I have no sympathy whatsoever. Does anyone?

Verty little; although there is an argument that removal of citizenship would be better timed after/if they are found guilty.
i don't envisage a queue of sympathisers forming
Doubt it. Pres you think there is chance someone here might have some sympathy.
I hate the term The Beatles- I wish the press would stop using it
For 'pres' read 'presumably'. Don't know where the rest went.
So they are only worried about torture and fair trials when it is themselves that are in the dock. How did the men who they beheaded get a fair trial ? And not get tortured?

They made their IS bed they can lie dead in it for all I care.

Bethany Haines, David Haines' daughter, said she hoped they die a "slow, painful death".

Good girl...a bit of honesty.
Sympathy? My heart literally bleeds for them, not! Put them at the risk of rendition and torture? Poetic justice if you ask me.
Some distinctly un-British answers on here. In the Britain I was brought up in, people accused and crimes were given a fair trial, and then, if found guilty, were punished.

fiction-factory .//Pres[umably] you think there is chance someone here might have some sympathy.//

That remains to be seen, but well done our government for taking this action. I’d like to see more of the same for anyone involved in terrorism.
We have no punishment to fit their crimes, The Chair.
Do you think macca will sue?
Question Author
TheChair appears to have some sympathy. There you go, fiction-factory.
No matter how much they Twist and Shout, Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey.
Indeed. It will be a hard day’s night 8 days a week for them when they’re back in the IS, back in the IS, back in the ISIS.
Oh dear,how sad,never mind.
British citizenship is given out far to easily these days.
I notice they don't seem to be claiming to be innocent.

They are lucky to still be alive.
Deport their families too and keep a close eye on anyone who supports them.
//We have no punishment to fit their crimes, The Chair.\\

I think the chair (electric variety) might fit the bill.
They should get a fair trial but not in this country as they will probably end up getting away with it very lightly and end up being able to claim compensation
