Can't see why.
No.
Not particularly. One sees what one wishes to see in things. Not keen on graffiti anyway, but on a canvas it'd just be the artist creating a picture. One would have thought more controversy regarding the dark skinned folk being used as a table.
AB uncharacteristically unwordy

no not unworldly - yes rather obviously anti-semitic
but part 2 is whether it should be destroyed

in which case we should be burning copies of Mein K - nicht war? and booko burning - didnt one party do that in Germany in the thirties?

how history repeats itself
// One would have thought more controversy regarding the dark skinned folk being used as a table.//

or indeed - nearer home
when s/o spots a brown skinned person, the average ABer screams their tots off that they are just about to murdered in their beds - I mean hey look what happened in France!

wher are the internment camps ( liberation areas for greater co-prosperity ) , search lights and machine guns?

A little context.
It was painted in Hanbury Street, off Brick Lane, London in 2012 at the height of the banking collapse by a Los Angeles artist called Mear One.

// "I have received a number of complaints that the 'New World Order' mural on Hanbury Street has anti-Semitic images," said the mayor of the local council.

"I share these concerns. Whether intentional or otherwise the images of the bankers perpetuate anti-Semitic propaganda about conspiratorial Jewish domination of financial and political institutions. //

Thanks for the post Talbot.

It shows the side of the mural which was cropped in my link.

The artwork was subsequently erased by the local council.
The graffiti doesn't say it portrays Jews. The Eye of Providence shown atop an unfinished pyramid might imply Freemason/Illuminati control, or may just be a reference to the US$. Looks to me to be a simple fantasy picture.
Just because it doesn't state it portrays Jews, it clearly does. If you've read the Merchant of Venice, you couldn't get closer to Shakespeare's description of Shylock if you tried.

I'm a gentile, and yet the mural seems pretty bloody anti-jew to me (I always hesitate in using the term anti-semite, as there's usually a nasally bore who states the semites are not just jews) - the artist couldn't've been painted a more more anti-jew mural if he'd tried.

Still, anti-semitism (there - I've said it) seems to be an 'acceptable' ism, and I really don't know why.
The all-seeing eye denotes Freemasonry.

Deskdiary,
I realise ignorance is not a defence, but if I had spotted this artwork, I would not have recognised Rothchild (and Warburg, whoever he is).
The image was supposed to be anti bankers, not anti-jew. The fact that that a third of the people depicted are jewish is not anti-semitic, it is just a reality that two of the six bankers are of that religion. Presumably the other four are ‘anglos’ and therefore christian, does not come into the equation.
Two of the others symbolise 'the Morgans' (Welsh-American) and 'the Rockefellers' (German-American).

Print versions of the mural have gone through various iterations since 2012.

Yes, I got Masons / Illuminati rather than anti Semitic
Is it art?
Of course it’s art. It’s a pictorial media. What else would it be?
Question Author
It was a bit conspiracy theory bonkers, but not anti-semitic.

Agreed.
I think the Jewry's still out on this one.
don't think it is, but don't much care for it to be honest.
