I took a walk round my local city Birmingham a few days ago.

Sadly many public areas have now been ruined by the presence of huge concrete blocks and barriers around many public squares and important buildings.

The local police headquarters now has concrete barriers on the pavement all along one side of it.

Many of these concrete barriers and other obstructions were put up during the Xmas market to stop terrorists driving cars or lorries into the crowds.

But even though the Xmas market went months ago many of these concrete blocks and barriers remain (I assume for future public events or at a period of heightened terrorist concern).

I also cant park anywhere near my local airport terminal due to the closure of the road that ran alongside the terminal after the terrorist that drove his car in to Glasgow airport a few years ago.

So thanks to the Muslim terrorists we have now have our city centres ruined and other facilities disrupted.

Our pathetic politicians (from ALL parties) do have a LOT to answer for.

These elderly foster parents seem to get a lot of sympathy but how were they not alert to his state of mind and his activity and contacts in such a small house. Also they were getting handsomely (hugely!) rewarded by the state for their generosity.

But the point is, he was NOT under surveillance, but he should have been.

The PREVENT programme was discreditted long ago, we should not be surprised it failed again.

The Foster Parents have been treated appallingly, and could have been in real danger from this young man. The fact that the charity Barnardos relayed the information that he has been trained by IS, and nothing was done, is a massive failing, and heads should roll.
