I hate the killing of animals for sport or any other reason, but I think that it is churlish to gloat over a human being mauled and eaten alive by a pride of lions.

Not gloating, just noting. I do hope other poachers are deterred, though.

I'm with Sqad in the respect of not being able to glory in the death of another. I'd feel I had lost some of my own humanity if I did.

I hold zero respect for anyone who kills creatures for pure monetary gain (if that is the case here), he chose a dangerous route and it didn't pay off this time.
