Winds from the East are usually cold, but this one has a distinctly warm feel to it.
Zeman Seems more of an opportunist that a right wing icon.

A former leader of the Social Democratic party and Supporter of Russia and China, but pro-EU.

Everyone in the EU (apart from Merkle) opposed the migrant quota, even the UKs worst Prime Minister Cameron was against it (but eventually caved in).

In the scheme of things, who the Czechs elect is of little importance.

Milos Zeman is an interesting character !

He doesn't believe in climate change.
He thinks that Czech people should be allowed to carry concealed weapons.
mikey; "Mr Zeman, who fiercely opposes immigration and objects to EU sanctions against Russia,"
Good for him, he sees through the EU's constant scaremongering about Russia, in order to justify creating an EU army, and like Trump (and for what it's worth; yours truly) he thinks the Paris Agreement was a load of tosh.
Like anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together, khandro. ;)
Good.
"Zeman’s campaign faces accusations that it may have been partly funded by Moscow. Jakub Janda, deputy director of the European Values think tank, who has investigated the president’s links to Russia, says at least one-third of his campaign funding came from undeclared donors who used a shadowy NGO to hide the source of the cash."
