Or is there a kind of conspiracy against him by certain police officers?

David Davis has said 'no' so obviously the answer is yes.
as I am a fan of conspiracies then I think the retired policemen have it in for him.
No proof tho, just my thoughts on the matter.
no- what crime has me committed
for looking at porn, no way, his family might have a thing or two to say however.
For using a works computer to watch porn when he should be earning his salary, Hell yes!!
Nothing has been proved, so no he shouldn't be sacked.
Why on earth are retired officers weighing in on this? Something not right.
gollob, you dont need to commit a crime to be sacked!

My comment was based on him being found to have watched porn on the company computer, rather than suspected.
Was he still doing his job effectively? He wasn't paid by the hour, so it isn't really time theft, if he got everything else done too.
He may not have wasted much time if he could only type with one hand anyway.
Most employers have an acceptable use policy regarding Internet access. If an employer had discovered the same material on an employee's laptop at work, is it not likely that employee would have been dismissed for misconduct?
It's not a coincidence that it's primarily May's key allies who have happened to get caught up in the recent rash of sex scandals. They are part of a wider political game.

/// For using a works computer to watch porn when he should be earning his salary ///

If he was indeed watching porn, (and there is no proof that he was) he may have been on his lunch break.
There is no conspiracy. The police do not do vendettas.

The man has dug himself a hole, and cannot climb out of it. The porn allegation has been around since 2009. It was in the report into Government Leaks then. It also came up in evidence to the Leverson inquiry on Press standards in 2011. On both occassions Green did not do anything about it.
The allegations have resurfaced because a female Conservative activist made a claim that Green behaved inappropriately toward her. So the press brought up the porn allegation again

If the allegation is untrue, Green can sue the newspapers for libel. The fact that he hasn’t is telling.
"There is a phrase ‘you can’t put fingers on a keyboard’ so I can’t say that but the computer was in Mr Green’s office, on his desk, logged in, it is his account, his name, in between browsing pornography he was sending emails from his account, his personal account, reading documents, writing documents and it was just impossible, it was sort of exclusive and extensive, that it was ridiculous to suggest that anybody else could have done it.”"
Doesn't sound like the access was restricted only to lunchbreaks.
Sorry, forgot to answer your question.

No he should not be sacked for viewing legal porn.

His continued lying should be noted, and a demotion at the next reshuffle should be considered.
// If he was indeed watching porn, (and there is no proof that he was) he may have been on his lunch break. //

Grasping at straws there AOG. Even in Parliament doors have locks. Are we to believe that a burglar broke into his office, hacked past his computer login and watched a bit of porn before breaking out again? That doesn’t sound credible or likely to me.
Perhaps politicians lie to us so much because they know that there are people will believe them, no matter how incredible the lie.
Should he be sacked? That would require TM to make a decision , he appears to be one of her supporters, so doubt he will be going anywhere. He may wish to take up a new hobby when he is " working " .!!

Where have I suggested that he was not looking at porn, I just said that to date there is no proof, and that if he was he could have been on his lunch break, answering the person who said he should be sacked for watching porn when he should have been working.
