Netanyahu in London, centenary of Balfour Declaration, next week. But the a-hole is happy to send Emily Thornberry, shadow foreign minister. Why has he not got the balls to attend, or explain why he wishes not to attend. And why leave it to Thornberry (Lady Neuberger)?

"like why you need to describe a person as you do in your second sentence"

I agree completely - it's just ignorance coupled with lack of vocabulary. It's not just the OP, though - there's a tendency to refer to public figures, especially politicians, using insulting nicknames all over this site. Regrettably, the Ed couldn't care less...
Kromo, you can be anti without having hate..
Oh, stop being so precious. If Scooping wants to call Corbyn a butthole, who cares? We are adults and profanity is a rich and beautiful part of English language
not just the leader Khandro, it's most of the party.
Some of us are adults and act like it - the site has no age guidance or restriction.
Netanyahu is caught up in a corruption scandal. Wise politicians wouldn't be there.

Good to see everyone busy confusing anti Zionism with anti Semitism for their own political purposes, as usual.
jno...as I said earlier, there are those that will always use the lowest common denominator when discussing the Labour Party. I am not sure why ED is allowing some of the posts on here.
//Kromo, you can be anti without having hate..//

Okay... you're saying Corbyn is anti-Jew and doesn't hate them? Because an anti-semite kind of by definition hates jews.

Or are you taking Khandro's view that JC is opposed to the state of Israel and/or doesn't believe it should have been created? Because that isn't anti-semitism.

Nothing wrong with the language. Politicians need to be called out and exposed for what they are, especially Corbyn, the biggest snake in the grass of them all.
//Some of us are adults and act like it - the site has no age guidance or restriction//

A) I'm pretty sure it does have a minimum age

B) It is up to parents to keep kids off sites they cannot handle. I am not babying my speech or behaviour because some hypothetical kid may or not be present and "affected" (boo hoo). They are not anyone else's problem.
Kromo, all I am saying is that you v=can be against something without actually hating it.For instance I am against Islamaphobists but I don't hate them.
Does the site have that?

I said on page 1 why I discourage them from joining in what could be good sensible news threads, you can call someone out as JJ has just proved without resorting the bar-room sound bites.

I'll leave you to the grown up discussion now.

I have agreed he should be open and honest about his non attendance.
I'm not sure he wishes to offend his "friends in Hamas." Not that he's an anti-semite or anything!
Mikey, I remain having respect for you. However, you must bear in mind that the Ed allows posts to remain, along with some of yours which are biassed beyond belief.

Hans.
mikey: "jno...as I said earlier, there are those that will always use the lowest common denominator when discussing the Labour Party" - TBF mikey there are a lot of very low denominators to choose from!
Hans...I have never denied not being biased. I am a committed Labour supporter and have every intention of remaining so.

But the language used on here today is uncalled for.
I have had posts removed because I used a popular slang word for testicles, which I accept, and now use other ways of saying the same thing. But the use of the terms "a hole" and "butthole" I find childish and puerile, which is why I have reported them.

Ed may choose to act or not, as he thinks fit.
Sorry to correct you mikey, but the Ed is female.

Hans.
mikey...AB's chief political reporter!
I have not seen any bad language on this thread what are you on about?
Hans...I was not aware of that...thanks !
