There are many books that are never produced in a hardback edition.

Do a Google (or other search engine) search using the title and author (or ISBN number) + Hardback.

ok - thanks Woof - have just finished reading a hard-backed book - and it was great to be able to set on cushion and read comfortably and so I would have liked to have done so with the "new" book.

Didn't mean to pry JJ, just that I have a few publishing contacts and it may not always be obvious that a hardback edition may have been published.
