Mail, Sun, Mirror and Daily Star as far as I can find.

I am sure that if I am wrong someone will soon be along with the evidence.

You have all the regulatory bodies on speed dial, Mamya.
Thank you Douglas.
OK

Oh Sp ! spare this thread !

no censorship !

now the other things - there is this very important man who looks as tho he has a boiled pussy cat on his forehead and he is a head of state which means that he is very important.....
and HE says about things or people he doesnt like - fire them or deport them ......( which is kinda like 'pull this thread')

and this thread is about a black footballer accused of rape
and o goofness there was a white student accused of rape on the very same day

and there was NOTHING in common between them except they were both in the papers, both accused of rope, both facing unwelcome publicity, both to some degree well known, both tried by newspaper and so really nothing at all to connect them....

and everyone on AB chorussed - o we dont understand at all why PP is writing about rape !
I did understand the rope/rape connection but got befuddled by some of the rest Peter - got it now.
1. Thank you. :-)

2. Whiteys. The other gets a squiggly line. :)

/// I have no idea why AOG - but I can see you are going to make race an issue on this thread - by any means possible. ///

How on earth you ever became a moderator or have even remained one, with the continuous accusations of racism that you aim at me.

Please tell me where I have brought race into my question, I think that you should first have a word with fiction-factor and your fellow moderator Gromit before you make accusations towards me?

Now having read all the posts even one asking the thread to be removed, it is amazing that the majority have chosen to make this thread a race issue, which speaks volumes of their attitudes.

What I am little surprised at, is the fact that all the posts referring to this footballers skin colour have not been removed by either the Ed or the Moderators.

Talk about deliberately derailing a thread.
Okay AOG - the reason why this story has not been so widely reported is because the player in question is not as high profile as (say) Chad Evans.

Is there any other reason you can think of?

If not, let’s go with that as the answer.

what do you think the reason is AOG?

/// what do you think the reason is AOG? ///

Well having no idea, due to me asking the question, I will accept what others are saying, and that is it is because of his skin colour.

Although when challenged one has now changed his reason to the fact that it is because he is a low profile footballer.

So perhaps I will go along with that excuse, rather than join the 'racists' amongst you.

among you
Oh dear.....
lol
AOG, the first answers to your OP give the reason that it is because he is no longer a pro footballer, was never a high profile footballer and most people haven't heard of him so this is 'just another rape' that the media does not consider very interesting to the general public, like the majority of rapes.

/// AOG, the first answers to your OP give the reason that it is because he is no longer a pro footballer ///

And didn't I answer:

"Ah! so just another rape just another day eh"?

But others were not happy with that answer and wanted to change it into yet another anti-AOG thread.
Why don't you share your theory as to why it has not been reported?
Just as a side note, how can you possibly argue that "this case has not been widely reported" when it's in (at least) four of the biggest newspapers in the UK?
AOG

Are you happy with the reason given - that he has a much lower profile than other footballers?
Question Author
What is interesting about this thread however is the fact that some have chosen to attack me, without one mention of the poor 17 year old girl and condemnation of the two brutes (careful not to use the word savages) who raped her.

Could it be the same as the Rotherham type child abuse cases, that some are frightened to do so in case they are classed racist?

Not seen it reported on the BBC or in The Independent or Guardian.
