Some of them look quite wet & it tells you on the link -

"They say they are protesting about a range of issues, including climate change, global wealth inequalities and the presence of Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin at the summit."

so how do they explain the looting?

Didn't actually see any looting in the Link, did I miss it?
Question Author
it was on the news.
Looters are opportunists, strike when they have their chance.

Obviously the only way to know why, would be to ask them personally.
An unfortunate typo on the invitations. It should have said:

'You'll enjoy looking in the shopping areas'
And these are the one's who would wish to take power, I despair for future generations.
Just an excuse for the EU lefties to have a day out and a bit of shopping with violence, accompanied by wanton destruction. Same old same old.
They are het up because they are mostly left wing rent a mob TTT. You know the sort that pitches up on Corbyn/McDonnells command.
All wearing designer clothes and using smart phones but moaning about capitalism.

/// Of course it's Kim jong Jezza's magic money tree! ///

Or as better described on Thursday's Question Time:

"JEZZA'S MONEY FOREST".
The only British political leader who seems actually to have access to a magic money-tree is Mrs Weak'n'Wobbly!
When she needed a sudden billion-pound bung for the DUP, there it was! More recently, the twenty thou needed to fly the leader of her prop-up party back to Northern Ireland by RAF transport was instantly available.
“More recently, the twenty thou needed to fly the leader of her prop-up party back to Northern Ireland by RAF transport was instantly available.”

The £20k is a ridiculous over-statement.

The cost of fuel for a Boeing 747 flying from London to New York is about £25,000. For the same aircraft to fly from London to Belfast would be about one tenth of that. For an aircraft of the type used by the RAF for such trips you can probably halve that amount. So let’s say, conservatively, £3,000 for the return trip. There are no other costs involved apart from a bit of between flight maintenance (no labour costs). The RAF already owns and maintains its aircraft, its crews are paid regardless of whether they fly to Belfast or not, and no airport landing fees are involved. And all this assumes that the aircraft was used solely to ferry Ms Foster and that all the costs are attributable to her.

The £20k quoted is what it would cost if an aircraft was chartered privately and is an inappropriate comparison. To understand just how daft such a comparison is, you can charter a private jet (something like a Cessna Citation 7 seater) from London to Edinburgh for about $6,000 (£4,200) and that includes all commercial costs.
