Which was published last October- has anyone read it? It is a lengthy document, I've only skipped through it, but here is a synopsis of his proposals for attempting to keep London more secure from terror attacks.

some of which if applied, could already have saved lives, but the problem I have with it is it is concerned with a defensive approach (which in fairness may have been his brief) rather an a more robust offensive against the removal of the ideology which is the source of these attacks and seems to have been the government's ill-judged strategy for too long.
Does anyone agree?

Khandro, I agree with you. I've been saying for a while now that all we're doing is trying to foil attacks.
And here is a synopsis of what appears to be Diane Abbot's considered response to the proposals in the Harris report.

I agree too. I've not read the report but it certainly appears to have been a very detailed piece of work.

Naomi is correct as the Government's approach has been more reactive rather than drilling down into the nub of the problem.
Not read the whole report but have the gist of it and I agree with your synopsis.

Very definitely we need to change the brief from defensive to turning the hunter into the hunted.
