I would like to - not sure if I'll be able to pick it up from abroad: I suspect not.

I can.
From my reading each of the leaders will occupy half of the programme; it will be a solo appearance, not face to face. In any case, as I don't have Sky I won't be watching, even if I wanted to.

It will be on Channel 4 too.
I think it fair that politicians should have a question and answer session. What I would not like is a US style head to head debate. I still shudder at the Brown/Cameron/Clegg performance in 2010.
I remember watching an election debate with the party leaders (minus Cameron of course) abroad 2 years ago (sad, I know). That was on BBC, and not on iPlayer, so it worked. If Sky News works like that (ie not only via Sky Go), which I daresay it does, well, hurrah for that ....
Mickey Sky News is on free/Sat view and also available on the internet.

It could be interesting, hopefully the questions will be picked for audience interest rather than the broadcasters (like the BBC do). We shall see.
Hopefully Mrs May has put an end to those cringe-worthy 'debates' for good.
Theresa May already done a Q&A on TV last night with Robert Peston.
Talbot; Which part of "abroad"? You don't need a package to get Sky News, it's freely available if you are on the right satellite.
Yes I'm fully aware of that, Khandro.

I think you must have missed ichkeria's name at the top of the C&P.
Talbot; //I think you must have missed ichkeria's name at the top of the C&P.//

I don't understand what you mean.
...Talbot means it was me who was asking.
All we need now is the wifi to be working and a boring evening lined up ;-)

I might watch this as long as I am promised that there won't be any questions about who takes the bins out, as was seen recently on the infantile sofa program.
Question Author
I'm surprised you watch such 'infantile' programmes, Mikey. I don't.
There's nothing infantile about the One Show ;-)

Why on earth 'debating' ahould be seen as such a no-no by so many God knows
Itchy...we are going to have to disagree about the sofa programs.

From the clip I saw on the news, it was just the same as any other sofa interview...weak, unsubstantial and unapologetically populist.

Mrs May should be interviewed by Paxo, without her husband....we are not electing Mr May next month.
Whilst I agree we are not electing Mr May I think it is good to at least see the person once. Partners will undoubtedly be consulted so we need to know what their views are too. I'm sure if the interview had shown Mr May to be a raving Nazi you would have been shouting how wonderful it was he was exposed. As it is it showed he was basically a nice bloke, who like Prince Phillip, wont interfere but will lend an ear when called upon.

Paxman is a knob, there are far better interviewers than him.
Question Author
I don’t understand why Mikey expected an in-depth, serious discussion on what I believe is a light, magazine, type programme. Had he read the link he would be aware that he will get his wish when Jeremy Paxman co-hosts the programme on 29 May.
What a cringe worthy appearance on the one show, so rehearsed, Mr, Mays new name should be Noddy, oh how he looked so admiringly at his wife, and they talked about shoes and bins!!!!!!! Ye God's .
