Yet another Trump failure. Is there no longer any doubt that Trump just doesn't have what it takes to be President ?

Will this guy EVER admit he was wrong and apologize for anything? Nothing is ever his fault!! He did not 'just miss' getting it through , it was a mile out, never stood a chance!

He could certainly learn a thing or two from Tayyip Erdogan
Good......how can you leave 6% of your population behind? Maybe offer them jobs on the wall?
and, of course, it's GCHQ's fault for rigging the vote.

From the link :::::

"Mr Trump had reportedly warned Republicans that if they did not vote for his bill then they would be stuck with Barack Obama's healthcare programme for good.

However, multiple reports suggested that between 28 and 35 Republicans were opposed to his draft American Health Care Act."

So, he can't even get his own Party to support him !
Yet more proof , if any were needed, that Chump simply does not know how the US government works! He STILL thinks he is running his own business and can just issue orders that must be obeyed without question.
Trump is only a notional Republican, he's a bleeding law to himself and so full of it. It's a surprised that Florida hasn't already hoved off and become part of the new Cuba and Texas hasn't become independent.
Trump...... " it as this democrats fault "
It looks like threats from Mr Trump weren't enough to get all of his party on his side.

Nicola and Donald, now there's a Trumptown marriage waiting in hell.

Hi Mikey

At 3:30 p.m., Mr. Ryan called Republicans into a closed-door meeting to deliver the news that the bill would be pulled, with no plans to try again. The meeting lasted five minutes.

I knew that he was threatening his party with dire retribution
and the usual bullox about thwarting the will of the majority

but I hadnt realised that this was the First Blink of his administration
From the BBC report
''He also said he had never claimed he would repeal and replace Obamacare within 64 days.''
So he has not failed, he is just a victim of more 'fake news' or 'alternative facts'.
He could take on the Welsh NHS model as a paradigm institution for the States?
I do like the way Trump blames the democrats, even though it was his own party which didn't support the bill.

//Speaking after the withdrawal, Mr Trump blamed the Democrats for not supporting the bill ....//

Really ? - what the dickens did he expect ?

Anyway , he promised Obama that he would keep obamacare , even if he didn't mean it ; so he has sort of kept his promise

Subject of controversy parodied in Private Eye, suddenly GWB looks like a paradigm of virtue against Trump and all is forgiven....Discuss? Maybe a subject for another thread?
Ironically of course he reason he failed was because this was actually a rare Trump compromise. His reforms did not go far enough for the real republican head bangers, as well as the democrats.
But the overriding impression certainly is of an incompetent president.
the Speaker - quote, "doing big things is hard." Duh......
