//I thought AB's usually very vocal brexiteers would be jumping with joy following the speech by TM , you all appear absent or subdued .?//
or maintaining a dignified silence?
personally I think she said what she had to say, this was what people voted for. For her not to go down this line would jeopardise their place in parliament but democracy as well people voted therefore we leave

//Theresa May has said the UK "cannot possibly" remain within the European single market, as staying in it would mean "not leaving the EU at all". Haha I think that is the main point to consider from Mrs May's speech. The op is just a blind to take your attention to a trivial detail.//

I’m neither absent nor subdued. Mrs May’s speech (which she need not have made as I heard it almost word for word on R4 at 8am this morning) was no more nor no less than I expected. My earlier posts on Brexit have expressed my view throughout that I believed the only way for proper Brexit to be achieved was the complete and absolute withdrawal from the EU and all its institutions which Mrs May explained as her aim today. Any “half in half out” solution would be no withdrawal at all. The majority of those who troubled to vote voted to leave. (Let’s not go into the “52% of 72%” argument). There were only two possible outcomes: in or out. Not half in half out; not 25% in 75% out. Just in or out. Mrs May has stated that she understands that principle.
