Why do so many sections think they should have a special veto or arrangement?

London is not a separate state from the rest of the country it is just a city.
And why would the mayor employ somebody who is probably amongst the most vehement "Remainers" to advise him how London should cope with leaving?
I have no idea why these eejits think that London is a separate area from the UK, here's the news guys, London is part of the UK, geddit!
Does either have any sway on this anyway ?

If they can highlight out valid issues then they have as much right to speak as anyone; but if all they want to do is cripple the exit then hopefully any undemocratic remainer troublemaking will be ignored by those who are actually doing the job.
Khan must be paying him loads of money otherwise he would carry on with his day job advising despots with Blair.
