Andy > I think the perception is that the other 364 days are Men's Days anyway!

Well, as the song goes, 'It's a Man's World'!!
Indeed ag - and it wouldn't be nothing, without a woman or a girl.
In 1958 Charles de Gaulle founded the Fifth Republic and was elected as the 18th President of France, a position he held until his resignation in 1969. Oh if only he was still in charge, He would be pushing Brexit through no messing :)
Joe Tex had it.

/// Well, as the song goes, 'It's a Man's World'!! ///

But not a Man's Country in the UK, taking into consideration that here the three most powerful persons are The Queen, the Prime Minister and the Leader of Scottish National Party, all who happen to be women.
AOG - I had no idea Nicola Sturgeon was a woman. I thought she was an 'agent provocateur'!!
//That is why I am asking "Why Shouldn't There Be An International Men's Day"

Not "Why isn't there Be An International Men's Day" which you seem to infer. //

Thanks for the clarification AOG, my mistake.
AOG....don't forget Mrs Christine Hamilton, the power behind the Neil Hamilton throne !

She scares me, think I'm safe in t'North.
As a man, I don't have any where near the issues that women have to face. No matter how you cut it, blokes have is easier in almost every aspect in life (with the exception of divorce laws).

There is only one career where women out-earn their male equivalents.

Why is there no International Men's Day?

Because we don't need it.
"AOG....I think this a smashing idea....you set up a petition and I will sign it !"

Better still the op shoul upload a few viral vids online to spark outrage and get the ball rolling and then start a protest about it seeing you feel so "Strongly" about this.

How many of your male friends have:

1. Been sexually assaulted or raped by a woman?
2. Had to suspend their career because their wives are having children?
3. Been refused a job because they are of 'child-bearing age' and their prospective bosses don't want the hassle of finding replacement staff?
4. Become Prime Minister and had tabloids talk about their shoes?
5. Been paid less than their female counterparts?
6. Been trafficked by women, selling them into prostitution?
7. Been amongst the 5% of men who are raped and seen their attackers convicted?
8. Been left to bring up kids by feckless boyfriends and husbands?
9. Been 'traded-in' for a younger model, once the kids have grown up (if they manage to snag a committed fella)?

Okay - women pay less for car insurance, but on balance, if you're born with a penis, you've pretty much got it made.

"but on balance, if you're born with a penis, you've pretty much got it made."

Just a fleeting thought before I go out on account on a very interesting documentary I saw the other night on Vice.

Transgenders. Which day would they be able to celebrate?

Whichever they wanted to?
"Transgenders. Which day would they be able to celebrate?"

The same day as Questioning?
If you have gender reassignment surgery, you would celebrate the day that you feel aligned to.

Or, like 99% of the world, you would just have a normal working day, because unlike Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day and Remembrance Sunday - very few people actually know when these International Day Of actually is., because very few people give a toss.
