My husband would never discuss women in a lewd manner.
Unless in a locker room apparently....then their personalities completely change!!
'These comments don't reflect who I am'

Who believes that?
Looks like 'Trumpageddon' has happened a month early. He is finished
//He is finished //

when set against his democrat opposition i'm not so sure he is. utterly appalling choice for the US electorate next month - i'm glad i haven't got to do it.
Ummm, I think I could guarantee 100% that my husband would behave like that in any locker room.
ummmm, most men watch what they say in the presence of women. Among their mates it’s different - not that I'm saying they're all the same - but it's not unusual for banter among groups of men to become less than savoury. Same with women. Have you ever seen the way women behave at those male stripper ‘girlie nights’? I’m guessing few of them would disgrace themselves like that were there men, other than the crude 'performers', present.

anneasquith, //It's very disturbing that anyone can " excuse" this behaviour whether it was 10, 20 years ago or yesterday. Very disturbing.//

It’s very disturbing that anyone is so far removed from reality – allegedly.

Baths. I'm sorry was ignoring you, your link is very interesting.
I know he wouldn't, Islay, nor would my OH or my dad, uncles and cousins...

I really hope Trump is finished. He's insulted ethnics, women, disabled...and goodness knows how many others.
Naomi - I was brought up in a pub, a mans pub, I know how they behave.

Lewd men are in the minority.
ummmm, if you know how they behave you wouldn't be denying that banter can often become crude when groups of men get together.
that's also my experience, ummmm. And the creeps tend not to run for high office, because they're creeps.
I'm not denying it, Naomi, I'm saying they are in the minority. The ones that spoke about women in a derogatory way had the reputation as a sexist creeps....just like trump!
jno, ummmm, islay, I would respectfully suggest that none of you have ever been party to the banter that goes on in men’s changing rooms – and neither have I - but I’m not so naïve that I think it doesn’t happen. It does.
Didn't Bill Clinton run and get into some 'High Office' or other?

I expected to see/hear something far worse than what I have seen, am I looking at the wrong video?
What changes rooms, Naomi?
*changing
^?
funny thing is, I never found Clinton all that creepy, Talbot.

The gist of the Paula Jones business was, as I recall, that he said "How about it?" and she said "No" and he said "Oh, okay then." No pressure. No "You'll never work in Arkansas again", no "Put her on drainage duties, chief", no revenge. A man who takes No for an answer is pretty much okay by me.

As an alternative, Nixon was a faithful husband but by all accounts talked sleaze. Trump is both sleazy and unfaithful, which seems like the worst of both worlds.
Thank you Anne, at least common decency and politeness isn't completely gone.

Naomi - I'm asking what changing rooms you're talking about. I don't believe my OH has been in a changing room since swimming lessons at school...
