Do you have a particular Scott family in mind?
I think Nicola might be pleasantly surprised if the whole of the uk had a vote.

Dave.
No, it must be Scotland's decision alone. It wouldn't be fair if Scotland voted to remain yet England told them in no uncertain terms to eff off.
Should the EU have had a vote on whether we remained in the EU or no since the whole of the EU is affected?
Not affected, Corby, infected.
I put forward this idea during the campaign in 2014. It is even more relevant now that the Scots have decided that they don’t want to leave the EU and are threatening to drag the other 92% of the UK population along with them.

I don’t know why they wouldn’t agree to such an idea. There is sure to be a huge vote for them to quit the UK among the English. However, I think wee Burney needs to get her thoughts straightened out:

“Nicola Sturgeon has said she would consider a second referendum on Scottish independence as early as next year if necessary.”

The gift is not hers to consider.

“She has also suggested that Scotland could stay in the UK and the EU.”

Er..er.. So let me understand this. The UK (which includes Scotland) leaves the EU. But Scotland (which is part of the UK) remains in the EU. Answers on a postcard, please.
"Should the EU have had a vote on whether we remained in the EU or no since the whole of the EU is affected?"

No. The EU is not (yet) a single independednt nation state. The UK (including Scotland) is.
Sabre rattling imo, they had the vote and wanted to stay, now the lady wants another vote ? Just like the Irish vote a few years ago, keep voting until they get the right answer.
I have always found it rather odd that some Scots wish to break away from the United Kingdom which has been united for as long as I can remember & align themselves to a bunch of Autocrats in Brussels who will be telling them what they can & cannot do, there is no question that if the Scots remain in the EU the rules will dictate how they will live their lives.
Sturgeon is representing the Scottish electorate or have I been in a parallel universe where the votes don't appear to count ? I don't understand why she is culpable for speaking for the majority , why the insults ? She's only doing her job same as May , Corbyn etc. I think debates would be far more salient and debatable if you like without resorting to childish slang words , I suppose it shows that she's niggling people enough .
The Kingdom of Denmark includes Greenland and the latter left the EEC in 1985 yet remains part of that Kingdom still. The fact that the EU is not a single country is a false argument since it is affected by any decision made by the UK.
And which insults might these be?
//“She has also suggested that Scotland could stay in the UK and the EU.” //
She wants two begging bowls then!
She is rarely referred to by her given name , you must have noticed .

Sturgeon is representing the Scottish electorate or have I been in a parallel universe where the votes don't appear to count ?// Sturgeon represents SOME of the Scottish electorate.
So if they stay in the U.K and EU what currency would Scotland use if they voted to leave. ?

Dave.
Majority is a majority however you address it.
The haggis sterling.

Mrs B is half Scots, traces back to The McDonalds, she's just said if the rest of us got the vote she would vote them out as she's fed up with the whingeing
Do you mean Mrs Krankie?
