What is the world's smallest fish? How small? Baby fish don't count.

Pears ultimate quiz companion says its the Goby.  Doesnt say how small though. 

I don't know about the smallest, but the scariest must be the candiru.

Look it up. (crosses legs)

The dwarf goby is 10mm.

The stout infant fish is a mere 7mm and believed to be the smallest fish - indeed the smallest invertebrate..

that should ofcourse be 'vertebrate'
