How much more can these people take? (all answers welcome ;-) )
Its more a case of how much more can this little island take!!!
If I were a genuine asymlum seeker I'd run round naked, if that's what they said I had to do.

"He said: “My time in Lynx House was one of the most horrible experiences in my life. I hated wearing the wristbands and sometimes refused to wear them and was turned away from food."

Makes me wonder, what horrific experiences led him to become a refugee.
"How much more can these people take? (all answers welcome ;-) ) "

they can take everything we have to give them..in fact theyll just go on taking and taking...and when we stop giving theyll start demanding...
Monday...here we go again!
I have often worn a wristband on my All-Inclusive holidays to prove my bona fides.
They won't want to avail themselves to free NHS treatment then if ID wrist bands worry them!!
Do they honestly think they will not stand out like a sore thumb in Cardiff with or without wristbands? A queue of healthy people of Middle Eastern appearance suddenly appear outside a refugee centre which is probably well known to the locals waiting for food? Bit of a give away.!

Direct the lady to Body and Soul subsection Beauty. She has inadvertently wandered into the wrong department for her requirements!
This is becoming past a joke.

If they thought that made them stick out then what do they think winging on will do to help them be endeared to the locals?
The horror of it, and not being bright enough to wear long sleeves just makes it worse. I always check that people aren't wearing wristbands, I do have problems distinguishing them for trendy bracelets.
Are these bands available on Ebay?

Some people choose to wear these.

Obviously I was messing. I don't even paint my nails :-)

It's just the same subject, different day.

Should they be made to wear wristbands - absolutely not.

Is it okay to paint their doors red which incites vandalism - absolutely not.

Should they appreciate this country - absolutely!
Strange how things go round in this funny old world.
When the Brits were building the Suez canal years ago they employed thousands of local Egyptian labour. The work deal included free food in large Mess tents adjacent to the diggings. The local Arabs heard of this largesse and walked out of the desert and joined the workers queue for free nosh. The Brit Boss men cottoned on to this excessive ration bill so determined who were the genuine workers and then had the acronym "Workers On Government Service stencilled on the back of their dish dash. I suppose if they had them they would of used wristbands back then! :-) Things have improved!

//It can be an acronym for several other things:
•"Whole Of Government. Used to describe Australian Government-wide outsourcing contracts"
•"Working On Government Service, referring to Indians working for the British Raj, or referring to Egyptian labourers working on the Suez Canal during the British Occupation in the early 20th Century."//
