Just watching the festivities in London and, please no atrocities tonight
Let's hope not.
Terrorism doesn't stop for new year's. Hopefully the concern is unnecessary and the disruption too: but if not then the authorities have acted.

I don't think our enemies are too sensitive to our festive season. In fact I imagine they think the noise of fire works are the perfect camouflage for gunfire and detonations. Everyone who enjoyed the celebrations in London should be thankful for the UK's superb security services who try to protect us 24/7 while we carry on as normal.
The Germans bombed London Xmas eve 1940 - it might have been coventry - juist to make us think ....

If the IRA didnt it was because they were too possed .....

easy way to cause economic damage ( like blowing up tourist resorts ) is to ring up the polizei from wherever - Molebeck - and say 'bombers on their way baby' when there aren't

yeah theyre not christian so they dont do christmas
and yes the 1968 Tet Offensive in Vietnam was camouflaged in exactly this way - Tet being Viet New Year ....

I think all us pensioners have that in mind ....
