I think it's fair to say more people know of Jimmy Hill than Lord Janner.

Jimmy Hill is also responsible for a lot more recognisable stuff than Janner.
Successful player, union leader, manager, tv presenter, innovator.
He changed the world of football and tv coverage of it so it seems particularly appropriate to lead with him on a Saturday night

One is more current than the other perhaps, one more currently sensational with all the implications that entails than the other......

I was just a little surprised as the earlier news and R4 both led with HM's ex MP and Minister....... and that the April 'trial' will be now off.

People die at 87, it's hardly newsworthy.Sad for family and friends but not headline news.

Janner is just one of many historic potential sex abusers who should have stood trial and faced his demons.
