"As a matter of interest. Are the Turkish airforce entering Syria and bombing Daesh positions. I have lost track? "

I don't blame you!
Yes they have been part of the anti-IS bombing coalition since the summer. I don't know if they've been doing it recently though. There are a lot of conflicting interests and ethnic tensions in this area, which makes simple labels hard top apply.
Thanks. There are certainly a lot of conflicting interests inthe area!!
//Are the Turkish airforce entering Syria and bombing Daesh positions.//

The first and last report of this I can find was in July/ August, I suspect it was a feeble attempt to show willing and validate their coalition credentials. Whether they actually bombed ISIS positions we wouldn't know, Erdogan would not wish to bomb fellow Sunnis, and that is a major problem in this quagmire.
Khandro
That is pretty much what I expected. That is why I wrote earlier that I would like to see where Turkey's true loyalties lie. At the moment I am doubtful and believe they are a dangerous loose cannon.
"I would like to see where Turkey's true loyalties lie."

Turkey's true loyalties lie, along with everyone else's, with themselves.
The reason they are iffy about targeting IS is because it is not in their interest as much as it is in their interest to see the back of Bashir Al Assad.
The reason Russia is not targeting IS that much is because it is more in their interest to support the Syrian leader, as they think that only the Alawite dynasty, which owes it many favours, is likely to support its presence their in the future.
And so on
Well it has been said that Turkey is funding Daesh by purchasing cheap oil by the truck load .They are our NATO partners and wish to join the E.U.???
Please, please, keep Turkey out of the EU - or, failing that, may we not be members by the time they join! I rather agree with Khandro's earlier post about Erdogan. (It's one of those 'know in my bones' responses').
