As they have already been in jail for three days they will be
deported once the fines are paid.

A bit more of a problem could be settling with the local Tribal Chief
who called for a fine of 10 buffalo!
Not that backward in Malaya then. They learnt of the "compensashun culture"
What would the chief do with the buffalo. Sacrifice them to appease the mountain Gods.??
Yep - Then scoff them no doubt.

Sounds good to me, especially if he got a couple of strippers in whilst eating it.
i really admired her dad who was on the radio earlier. His interview went along the lines of "yes, she knows she was an idiot, we know she was an idiot, she's really sorry, the sentence was correct, she absolutely apologises"
A disgrace to UK! She should knows being nude in public is an offence here as well.
bedknobs; He couldn't really say anything else whilst she is still out there, could he? Wonder if she remains contrite once she's back on English soil.
it doesn't happen here, tambo, which is no wonder considering the weather; but at least it prevents earthquakes.
These people have no self-respect so why expect them to respect anyone else?
How can you say they have no self respect? Besides this daft incident you know nothing about them.
All will be revealed soon, in whichever daily rag her story has been sold to !!
Ummmm. I don't need to know anything about them. Actions speak louder than words. Enough said.
I am unsure why these people thought it was a good idea to strip off in the first place, irrespective of whether location was sacred to the locals or not.

Why do some people have to make ridiculous spectacles of themselves ?

I don't climb mountains very much any more, due to increasing age and infirmity, but when I did, I cannot recall anybody taking their clothes off and faffing about at any of the summits that I climbed. My nephew is now doing what I used to many years ago....he did the Three Peaks Challenge last year, and he can't recall anybody nude on the top of Ben Nevis, Snowdon or Scafell Pike.
