I congratulate AOG, TTT & other Tory supporters on their party's win in the general election. From posts in A/B however I find it difficult to understand their apparent complete non-recognition of the underprivileged in our society. Is it that they are completely unaware there are people who need our care & compassion or are do they truly believe in the saying ''I'm all-right Jack to hell with the rest ''? If the latter is true then I must state categorically they must all be selfish to the core & I personally want nothing to do with them & will no longer wish to associate with them in any way from now on.

Crikey. That's a bit strong. Substantiation via some examples might have made your post less personally insulting.

My post is NOT personally insulting, I am in reality asking a simple question
Is this what makes a person a Tory ?
'they must all be selfish to the core'

I'd find that fairly insulting myself.

I don't think they are unaware of underprivileged Etc, It's more the exploitation of the system by some that bother them more
But they do appear to make the 99% pay to get the 1% that are not genuine.
Hi Ron, I'm afraid Labour must take part of the blame for their dismal results. Perhaps when Gideon presents us with his budget in July we'll see just how bad it will get.
ron, interesting post, it's refreshing to see another publication on AB rather than the daily mail,
do they truly believe in the saying ''I'm all-right Jack to hell with the rest

Very possible.
"Disability News Service (DNS) is run by John Pring, an experienced journalist who has been reporting on disability issues for nearly 20 years.

He launched DNS in April 2009 to address the absence of in-depth reporting in both the specialist and mainstream media on issues that affect the lives of disabled people."

So not actually an unbiased website, also This sounds to me like a polite brush off rather than actual info
"But this week the secretary of CRPD, Jorge Arraya, gave DNS the clearest indication so far that there was an inquiry and that it was still in progress.

When asked whether the inquiry had been completed, he said: “At this point, as this process is confidential, I am afraid I cannot provide any information.

“Should we be in a position in the future to give you information, we have your contact details.”

When DNS asked when he was likely to be able to provide information, he said: “Apologies, John, I would like to, but it may create unreasonable expectations.”
I tend to concur with you Whiskeyron, it seems if only they could "walk a mile in my shoes" as the saying goes. It seems that some folk are all comfy in their own little bubble, and sod the destitute.
Aw, don't be like that, mun.
This is just more sour grapes isn't it. Get over the fact that we have a Conservative government for the next few years.
I was born poor.........and the poor were whinging.

i grew up with the poor and we, the poor, were whinging.

I paid more tax and National insurance than most on AB.......and the poor are whinging.

We have had right wing and left wing Governments......and the poor i whinging.

I am sick of the whinging poor and i never give them a thought.

\\\\\I must state categorically they must all be selfish to the core & I personally want nothing to do with them & will no longer wish to associate with them in any way from now on. \\\\\

As you have made clear in many previous AB posts your lack of respect for me............then I can live happily with your above pronouncement.
Lmao!!!

Somtimes, I love sqad!

Or more precisely, I occasionally love what he types.
I was born poor.........and the poor were whinging

Lol, what the hell does that mean exactly?
I have a strange vision, something along the lines of baby Jesus in a stable.

Talking of Jesus I can't believe you think the divide between Tory and Labour voters is so vast that it evokes such vitriol. It really isn't.
