G'day Boaty, your thumbs must be as green as mine.
I only buy plants that thrive on neglect, it takes longer for them to wither away.
How was the pie yesterday?
Fingers crossed for you weather wise.
Chilly starts and finishes to our days now but its warmed up nicely during.
Haven't had a frost yet but it wont be long before I'm scraping the windscreen in the morn.
Do most of our weeding with a couple of different herbicides but I guess with Tiggy mooching around you'd have to be pretty careful with what you used.
I find a good mulch on the garden beds works a treat. Old lucerne bales that have started to go mouldy spread 6" thick last a couple of years, suppresses weeds and feeds the plants. Don't know if farmers grow the stuff over there but here I can buy a couple of ton pretty cheaply.
I don't think it is available here oz. Vera used to keep it looking wonderful. I don't have her skill. Gardening has never been my thing. I probably do more harm than good.
hello all. it's a lovely day out there today and hardly any air movement. everything seems to have to life in a flash. so much to do and so little energy to do it with.
morning wbmxxx and all xxx agree about the weeds . I cut my lawn and loads of dandelions through again . There seems to be more of them this year everywhere round here .Back to normality today . No cat hunting . Cat was waiting on them when they got back .
