Poor man...commiserations to his family.

I really am at a loss of words to describe the present situation and all the rhetoric surrounding it; in fact it reminds me of a quote by Alexander Pope which has always stuck with me: "Words are like Leaves; and where they most abound,Much Fruit of Sense beneath is rarely found." Is it time to forget words and sound a call to arms?
Stuey...a very short answer....YES !

It's not that long ago that more than 80 people were killed when terrorists attacked an Algerian oil refinery. You'd wonder what advice the French government, and ours-for that matter, would give to tourists proposing to go there?
The French had been paying up to now so did they stop paying?

Mme Claustre - http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fran%C3%A7oise_Claustre
was dragged unwilling around the desert for three years

I thought it was seven - but any way a long time
TTT yes the French have been paying, but I think (from what I gather from neighbours) that this time they were not offered the choice. The murder took place to dissuade France from action in their opinion.
I wonder if they will be sending in the Jets to bomb them out of Algeria now, and won't those 'Boots on the Ground' have an awful long way to march?
He won't be the last.
