it's not really clear what he's saying - it appears to be that it should have been settled earlier (which would perhaps have meant "settled for less money").

he had male hypogonadism, which rendered him infertile, contradicting
forensic evidence obtained at the time of the murder. In 1975 his testes
had measured 4 to 5 mm, whereas the average male testicular size was
15 to 20 mm. During his research, Jackson found someone who confirmed
that Kiszko had been seen with his aunt tending his father's grave on the
day the murder took place. They said they could not understand why they
had not been called to give evidence at the trial. Someone else said that
Kiszko had been in a shop around the time of the murder.

Also in February 1991, the four girls involved in the court trial admitted that
the evidence they had given which had led to Kiszko's arrest and conviction
was false, and that they had lied for "a laugh" and because "at the time it was funny".

Dreadful DrF. But if any regime attempted to bring the death penalty
back, at any time in the future, there would a large minority would support it, which is sad but probably true.

Dr Filth - In one of the cases - Run Bambi Run - I think, a commentator was going thro the Hang-em-high countries and didnt mention the UK. When challenged, said 'oh its well known there is no appetite for capital punishment in the UK as a result of miscarriages of justice over fifty years.'

Kisko - he had azoospermia - known at the time and so should neva have been convicted and the Defence afterwards kept VERY quiet about their failure in that one. Actually the defence QC became Home Secretary - was it Buchanan ? - and realised the significance once it had been pointed out to him ( hem hem ) and arranged for bail whilst the appeal was heard.

Kisko's original defence had been manslaughter by diminished responsibility....

Once they knew he hadnt done it - the four girls testimony had to be demolished and the only way out was for the girls all to admit perjury.
And they got them to do it. - the quote form one was - do you think I feel proud for what I have done ?

Kisko's comment was - I always believed in British Justice....

The girls' evidence was nothing to do with the murder but that he had jacked himself off in public ( in his car)......

In the Lesley Moleseed murder much was made of the lorry driver's blood group (A) being found at the scene. ( 42% of anglos) and no one asked what Lesley's blood group was (A) until twenty y later.... oops
what was the Defence doing there ? again....

when i read up on the case the police had the evidence to prove it was not him but left it out of the court

Yet another miscarriage of justice wholly down to stupid and corrupt Police it seems.
