Although I disagree with Union and traditional labour values many people do agree and Milliband should not really be abandoning them. Problem is, if he does not get middle England on board (or are not lefties or righties really) then he wont get elected.

Bouncer...you would need a miracle to achieve that....a crematorium does an awfully final job you know.
The only way Labour can become a party of the people is to dump the tie with the unions and the extreme left.
All those union backed MPs should stand for the Communist Party that would show if they really had grass root support.

We need an electable party as an alternative to the Tories but Labour hasn't been it for a long time. It is only the Scots and the Welsh that have kept Labour alive for many years.
