do they need prison or a psychiatric hospital? they are surely never going to fit enough to leave either.
No.
I agree with lj. I doubt they can ever be trusted.
Question Author
they aren't mad, i don't think they should ever be released.
They should come out eventually, in a 'private ambulance'.
No.
Question Author
i believe the ruling was that they can serve a life to mean life sentence, i sincerely hope that happens.
I agree with emmie here. They are clearly not mad, just bad. They have taken a very extreme stance due to their fundamentalist interpretation of Islam. I can't see how they can ever be released unless they change their opinions dramatically.

I am a little unsure of this but could they not be deported back to their country of origin, if that is not Britain ?
Question Author
one was born here i think.. Not sure of the other.
They're British - and they're converts to Islam. There's nowhere to deport them to - and bearing in mind their horrendous crime, that's just as well. The key should be very firmly disposed of.
Question Author
they will be treated liked heroes by some in prison.

Adebolajo is a father to six children, i wonder how they will see their fathers actions in years to come.
If he's father to six children, just as well he's going to prison. Not the best influence!
No they should remain locked up for good.

And better reserve 6 places for his kids in a few years time.
They've shown no remorse and have tried to mitigate their evil crime. They will likely never be rehabilitated and should therefore never be free to pose a risk to the public.

I am not a fan of capital punishment, but in their case I wouldn't lose any kip...
No they should not ever be released. Their crime was barbaric, hacking a complete stranger to death like something out of the middle ages.

Adebolajo is a dangerous product of his fundamental christian upbringing and conversion to muslim extremism. He is clearly a mixed up individual, remember he was reciting words from the bible when he was claiming the murder for Allah.

Can those years of christian and muslim brainwashing ever be mended? Is what he is now the finished product? Sadly, I doubt any rehabilitation in the many years he will be in prison will rectify the damage to his personality.
No, not ever.
For goodness sake don't forget their ''Civil Rights'' they should be taken quite ''Civilly'' & allowed to drop through a trap door with a noose around their neck''Right'' now.
They have no place in a civilised society and if ever released would kill again

Hang 'em
Question Author
perhaps the children will fare better, but somehow i doubt it, this is a man who has shown no remorse, neither can justify their actions, neither should ever be released.
