reacting to perfectly reasonable confusion caused by your failure to communicate clearly with:

/Do try and work things out for yourself/

is both arrogant and rude and a classic example of how poor communicators often try to blame their audience

'sorry I should have made it clearer' would have been a more intelligent and polite reaction
He is very rude at times!

If he spoke to me like that in a pub I'd accidentally knock his pint over...

/// “Sarcasm is the last refuge of the imaginatively bankrupt.”

Then perhaps you would have been wise to follow Cassandra Clare's words before you typed this.

/// Glad to see that you are trying to shyte-stir AOG - ///
/If anyone is 'stirring it' it is this woman. /

seems like the photographer is photo-reporting a situation truthfully

what people do with that information is up to them

are you suggesting aog that the photographs misrepresent the true situation?

or are you suggesting that the true situation should be concealed in some way because it might raise issues that some people find challenging or uncomfortable?
That's not sarcasm though.
No that's not sarcasm - it's the truth, AOG........
The DM are still showing them, AOG - if they didn't commission EJ to take them, they've have no doubt paid her to run the "story".

Oh so when you put this;

/// Glad to see that you are trying to shyte-stir AOG - ///

You were actually pleased I was trying to shyte-stir?

If that is the case and to you I was only 'trying' then by jove I really must try harder, perhaps one day I will be as good at it as some on here appear to be.

Keep practising then; you'll get there - one day.

Here we have a white photographer and although none of the black nannies are complaining, she has gone to the trouble of spending four years specifically to photograph black nannies looking after white children.

And you still don't think she is trying to stir up trouble, if not then what other point was she trying to convey?

http://www.slate.com/blogs/behold/2014/01/14/ellen_jacob_photographs_new_york_nannies_in_her_series_substitutes.html
When I first saw the headline, my immediate thought -daft I know- was the black nannies were pushing white children, as in selling them. That would have been shocking. Not pushing them in pushchairs.

-- answer removed --
The nannies are doing it because they want to, better than a job as a waitress or shop assistant which is also minimum wage and no health insurance.
I would take a very heavy bet that these nannies get clothing provided and free food in addition to the wage.
Of all the Daily Wail non stories you come up with aog this has to be the most banal.
Reading her words, from the Slate Blog - it is apparent she went on a learning curve as she undertook this study. I actually think this is something she has wondered about all her life, for as you say her own Nanny was Black.

On Facebook she was thrilled Slate picked it up and today she says 'Wow' re the DM too.

Oh so you now want to get back on track do you?

I have already given them, but then I asked the question for others to give their answers on the subject matter not just personal criticisms, isn't that what is supposed to happen on forums such as these?.
