I posted this on AB recently but I think it's worth repeating :::
It reminds me of a true story about the Sun newspaper. They were having lots of complaints about their astrologer, so the Editor decided to give her the sack. He wrote her a letter, that begun
" As you are probably already aware........."
Why any educated person would pay to see people like this perform is a complete mystery to me. My Mum used to go. I remember picking her up in my car outside the theatre after the show, and almost 100% of the people streaming out were women.
I don't want to offend the AB Sisterhood, but can anyone explain why the ratio of women to men at these events are so firmly in the ladies favour ? After all, women and men are educated equally well these days

That low? I'd have guessed it was exclusively female because I've never known any male friend or colleague attend one of these 'shows'.
Like oyu, I'll never fathom why any sane, rational person would.

I have to admit guys - I have been to a few "medium" events (male & female mediums).
Men do attend aswell but fewer. Usually packed out. I have always been just curious but I accept not everybody wants to explore. By the way I did go to school!
It can be very entertaining - when the medium is getting a hollow barking and getting the initial R.. am I getting Rex?. Was this dog always with you? - I'm getting a Catherine well he's still with you my darling etc etc..thing is it adds up more than doesn't.
Actually some people in tears as descriptions so accurate about say a deceased mother-in -law and they go away happy as genuine family rift before the death and they get a message that helps them move on. Alot of laughter at these events too as some funny stories.
I have had a few messages over the years which were 100% accurate. Some people might be abit frightened but I feel quite comfortable around that sort of stuff but I couldn't explain why. I'd suggest going sometime with an open mind and see what you think after. Pick a good one though!
