I don't think so. His actions related to SA and apartheid, but that struggle and his role in it has proven inspirational around the globe. You might not share that sentiment, but that does not mean it is untrue.

(and for the record I think the 'worldwide impact' thing is a bit strong - and is often touted by people in the UK or America. It's unfortunately hard to see Mandela's legacy casting much of a shadow over China.)

The Iron Lady, which was attributed to Mrs Thatcher by the Russians and reported in an English newspaper was a mistake in translation. What the Russians actually called her was The Frigid Bitch.

get your facts right wharton it was meant as an insult, she wore it as a badge. Still if she's upsetting the whinning sweaties she's doing something right. Good luck with independence, you're going to need it.
