When will we really get tough with this group of people. They have failed to get their house in order whilst we walked on egg shells around them, fearful of being labelled racist by the right-on brigade so surely it is time to crack down.

In my opinion mosques should not be no-go area's for non muslims (ie Police and inspectors), should not be havens to preach hatred and should not be used to harbor people who do. If they break these simple rules then the place should be shut down and every one involved prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

but I'm not going to hold my breath and I'm sure the right-on bully boys will be on my back here shortly.

Mosques aren't no-go areas for anyone - they are open to all. The moderates at any mosque appear to be having difficulty in holding back the extremists. I don't know what we do about it - some of the extremists are British nationals, so it's not all a problem of holding back immigrant insurgents.

Ahhh bless

ymb is a victim of bullying LOL

(or prone to expound weak arguments and inadequate defences for them)
Did they hear him chanting 'Plebs' too?
I am not sure the connections you are making add up in this case.

Here we have a very unstable individual, most likely suffering a mental illness, who has attached himself to a cause and then reached meltdown.

//He is thought to have been released from Springfield, a psychiatric hospital, two years ago.//

What the bejiggings are you talking about?

The man had a mental illness.

I agree that they should not be havens for hate speech...but where did you get the idea that they are no-go area for the police?

And what 'inspectors' are you talking about?

Health and safety?

Food?

Clouseau?

Honest, it would be so refreshing for just once in a while, the so-called 'right-on bully boys' had a question put to us that was actually challenging and well thought out.

This is neither.
You do know we have police officers who happen to be Muslim, don't you?

I suggest you go to your nearest mosque and have a chat about your concerns. You will be made welcome if you make the effort.
ymb has been walking on egg shells? When did that happen?

Yes we know them so well.

/// The man was Tasered multiple times by police after launching his attack on a busy street. ///

Hope it hasn't hurt the poor chap too much, or we will hear cries of 'Police Bulling Tactics' and yet more claims for extensive compensation.

It appears that this poor man was suffering from some form of mental illness. I hope he gets the treatment he clearly needs.
I'm not going to offer an opinion , cos i dont know if i'm a ' right-on bully boy' or not

That would be pathetic if it wasn't so comical ...

Where is the playground teacher baz and aog, when you want to tell her about the boys being mean to you?
I am genuinely not trying to throw petrol on a bonfire here but -

the two posters who refer to 'bullies' on the AB are youngmafbog and AOG, and frankly, two gentlemen more capable of punching their weight in an argument I would be hard pressed to find.

You can only be bullied if you feel bullied, and frankly, I cannot conceive of that scenario for either of you.

If there are two more robust debaters and defenders of their views on this site, I have yet to read their posts.
/// A Muslim convert was heard chanting that he wanted to kill non-believers hours before going on a knife rampage and trying to kill a police officer and firemen. ///

Walking on egg shells once again, if this Psycho was reported to be roaming the streets for 4 hours chanting that he wanted to kill non-believers, why wasn't he arrested in the first place, he then wouldn't have had the chance to arm himself with four blades and an iron bar.

The outcome from all this could have been much more serious than it already was.

Exactly andy

which makes the snivelling even more bogus and dishonest

like crying 'foul' just after punching someone else below the belt

Thank you for your sentiments Andy, but one can still be bullied, even if it has no effect on one.
AOG - I have to disgree with your last point.

The definition of bullying surely requires the bullied to react - if the object of the bullying is not intimidated, then surely bullying cannot take place -only the intention to bully, which is not really the same thing.

A fine distinction - but an important one I am sure you will agree.
