no heating on and still in shirt sleeves ... winter jumpers will come out before i consider putting the heating on
Of course not ! But then I have no women in my house.
Mines on a thermostat so when the temp drops it comes on automatically. Not sure if I've noticed it coming on so far.

I am thinking about going and putting some socks on though as it is a cold wet and miserable day :-(
No, I will stick it the cold as far as possible. I'm going on holiday 16th - 26th November, so maybe I'll need it after that
Nope, live in the nice South. It's disabled anyway so the ladies can't turn it on!

Are you insinuating women feel the cold more than men?
nope, I'm hoping it won't be needed until November too, I haven't used it since the end of march i don't think, I'm getting a new upvc front door too and that should make a difference. and putting up winter weight curtains in the bedroom
No, but I nearly did this morning. I'm resisting til the kids break up in October.
Have had it on a couple of times.
Especially when I want to air some washing as I don't have the luxury of a tumble dryer.
Mine gets put on when I'm out but I thwart them by putting it off when I get in
Its not that cold
Not yet . If I feel cold I just grab the cat and put it on my lap .
Lol Dusty, I wish I could do that with my dog but I'm not sure he'd appreciate it and I'm not sure my legs would take his weight.
My experience is that women moan and whinge a lot more than men, when it comes to being too warm or too cold.
Yep for about 2 hours last night.
More for the little one really his bedroom felt a bit chilly.
Yes - and I light a real fire every night.
real fires bring back lots of memories ay.
my feet are quite chilly at mo, so will venture upstairs for my thick snuggy socks.
No heating on at all unless it gets chilly tonight.
"Have You Turned On The Heating Yet?"

No, but the heavy blankets are out and in full use :)
I need the air around me to be warm. I really don't like the cold.
No, it's only September, and the gas bill for summer this year was shocking as well. But I have thought about it and wondered when I'd "crack".
I am in the midlands and it has been cold all day and raining heavily.

I have pressed the "1 hour" button on the central heating 3 times today to take the chill off the house.
