Viv it doesn't follow that because the jury were not sure beyond reasonable doubt of his guilt that she was lying.

She wasn't the one on trial, and there is not enough evidence to prove she was telling the truth or lying. In that case, one must conclude - as the jury have - that the criminal charges bought forward can not be proven beyond any reasonable doubt.

Wouldn't be surprised if mother and daughter cooked this up between them thinking they were onto a nice little earner! With regard to other celebs coming up for trial, I am sick to death of reading about these so called 'rapes' and sexual assaults that supposedly happened to teenage girls and young women.
Does no-one know what a groupie is any more? These girls will do/have done anything to be seen with a 'star'.

Glad he's been found not guilty.Trouble is all sorts of incidents and thoughts of making money from paper stories are coming to the fore now.If this woman had been so distressed surely she,via her family,would have brought this up long ago.Meanwhile,Jimmy Saville,the cause of all these accusations and investigations,remains dead.

Peoplehave been persuaded that there was evidence
But I am not sure there was.
There were stories from the prosecution - not very convincinv to the jury - and very little else.

Do people's memories last accurately over 14 y - a lot of the research says not and at least that shows why we keep written records.

I thought a lot of the evidence was er false
If there were three versions then that is easy to say
but a lot of you seem to have been persuaded
