says the lass introducing the C% afternoon movie, which got me thinking, (doesn't take much!)

I'd love a Chelsea Bun with a good cuppa tea.

Any other favourite bun lovers out there and what's yours?

i like a cinnamon swirl, or a pecan danish, or one of the appley thingies
Those Danish pastries from COSTCO ..the swirly ones with raisins..yum yum.hiya albs !! Xx
I love doughnuts though Chelsea buns are lovely, milky sweet tea or coffee too. Am a bit gutted as I could only make it to the cornershop to get supplies in (sciatica and other issues) as had run out of lots of stuff and they only had some rather yukky looking coconut cakes and muffins, not a fan of muffins. I got some chewing nuts though, love them!

ooh, I love the appley thingies (I think I know what you mean Fluffpot x)

Cuddlyone xx A cuddlybun would be nice, you'd make a fortune :-D
I just had a Chelsea bun with my 3 o'clock latte, it was dry and most disappointing. It was from Asda so I shouldn't be surprised, now a lovely fresh belgian un from a proper bakery that would've been lovely.
hmmm cuddlybun good idea albs

Eve, do you like gingerbread? Local shop sells a decent make and it's moist.
So sorry to hear about sciatica, nasty, nasty pain, hope it burgers off soon xx

Ratty, that's the problem with supermarkets in general, mass produced.
:-(
had a lemon cheesecake the other day andsome it was!
I've just had a lemon posset, but that's nothing like a bun

Cuddlyone, this might come across as crass, but it is typed and meant with good intent.

Apparently in the US, they do a 6ft hogie (sp), now a 6' 8'' cuddlybun for hen nights, will need to get the lady bakers of AB to come up with some really tasty ideas :-) xx
Question Author
oooh, Sloopy, a good lemon posset is lush.
(problem is, it reminds me of the word gusset, don't ask!)

Haven't made a cheesecake in yonks, on the to-do list for this weekend.
lol albs do the hogie cokey!
Custard finger doughnut or apple turnover from Tesco or failing that a chocolate muffin with cream from Morrisons with a lovely coffee........
