There must be an injured party in this Downing Street scandal', would he be thought less of if he went to the tackroom and dusted down a sturdy horsewhip?

I think a damned good thrashing was a chastisement reserved for the gentry. The lower orders would kick each others ****ing heads in.
But nowdays, with 50 shades and all, some might not see the humiliation of being horsewhipped on the steps of the Carlton Club as something to be ashamed about.
