Mr O has been asked to run a course which means he will be away from home for a month. I am used to this and it doesn't bother me in the slightest. What DOES bother me is that the venue is Nigeria, one of the least safe countries on the planet.
How would you feel about this if you were in my shoes?

Worried mrs o.
Worried Mrs. O but then I can worry for the UK so not much help to you.

What does he do if you don't mind my asking? Don't say if it might identify you as having a very famous OH!
Question Author
hc4361 - oh great.

They will be providing him with bodyguards but I am still not convinced
Question Author
yoga, sorry, I can't say xx
No problem xx Hope he stays safe, when is he off? I assume he has to go, no option.
Will he be getting paid danger money, mrs o ?.
Question Author
yoga, he is self employed and no, he doesn't have to go.
However, he is keen to go as he will receive the equivalent of a years salary for one months work.
But sqad why isn't she holding a machine gun in a seductive sort of way ?.
Question Author
lol @ sqad - you naughty boy!
Gosh!! Well, can see the dilemma!
;-)........get those lips.....
Money isn't everything Mrs O.
I'd be extremely reluctant to see any relative of mine travel to Nigeria at any time, but in the current climate and for a month it would be a no-brainer.
If he doesn't need the money, why risk it?
On a serious note mrs o, hope he gets paid in sterling as their currency is worth next to nothing out side of Nigeria !.
Question Author
I think I may have to put my foot down on this one
You would be in a state of anxiety for the entire time.

Money is nice - but being alive and a non-hostage is even nicer!
Don't blame you mrs o, in this case anyway.
>>I think I may have to put my foot down on this one>>

As in stomp on him until he agrees not to go? :-)
