Vandalism always makes me think, "Exactly what is the point?"

You can rationalise robbery, fraud, tax evasion, because there's an end result (monetary gain).

But vandalism? Why? What does anyone actually get out of it?

Doing something stupid does not mean they are mothers already.

Vandalism is a curious problem. Why do people do it. Alcohol often plays a part particularly when coupled with bravado, egging on or in some cases jealousy (not in the bus station but probably in the Porsche example)

One does have to wonder why they had the hammer. I would suspect that in this case they had a grievance of some sort with the company or a driver perhaps?
