Looking at 2 of their most prominent 'members' Tom Cruise and John Travolta, does rather put one off joining the sect.

I know Tom Cruise is a member, but I still don't know anything about Scientology, except it hasn't made him any taller.

I've got to 60 without knowing anything about them, apart from the fact they seem to attract the rich and (not always) famous, so, they leave me alone and I'll do the same for them.

I think probably the rich and famous join such religions because they have done it all, seen it all and need something new to do !
